Ryan Loves Dogs and Dirt

Ryan has managed to crawl out onto the back porch to play with the dogs boxes and then when the sliding door was open and the dogs were out there with Mike he managed to make it out there!!

In one picture he has dirt on his face!! This week he also tasted dirt, while out front being supervised kinda--Mike is redoing the flower bed and there was a huge pile of dirt that Ryan grabbed a handful to taste!!  He was more upset when we took it out of his mouth!

Ryan's New Favorite Place!

Now that Ryan is crawling everywhere--we are busy watching.  He still very much enjoys the dogs bowls--we put the water up once he is on the ground because of incidents like the above! However he likes to get there food bowls and bang them together.  He thinks that is hilarious!!! Which it is!! 

What he likes now is to be in the front window like the dogs.  We have a small window with a ledge next to our front door that our dogs are constantly looking out of.  Ryan now pulls up on the ledge and looks out too!!  It is really funny when Ryan is looking out the window and the dogs are above him looking out as well.

Thankfully he has not fully discovered the stairs-- I am waiting because I am sure it is days away as he is really starting to pull up on anything he can reach.  Then this is him stuck under his walker--not sure how he got there but he did!!

Army Crawl

Well Ryan's crawl is not up on all fours its more Army style!!  Whatever works for him--everyday he is going farther and farther on his own--exploring his house in a whole new light.  However this is a video of him crawling to his favorite place and talking the whole way there. 

The big sigh you here in the background is Dixie watching this event unfold!!

Dog's Water Bowl

Well the time has arrived!! Ryan is mobile and his favorite place to go is the Dog's water bowl.  The dogs are great and just stand there and watch him play with their stuff. Here are some photos we took while watching him pretend he was a dog and try to drink from (or eat) the bowl.

Its really fun to watch him just play and laugh.

Changing Times

Here are some photos of Ryan over the past couple weeks.  He is trying sooo hard to be mobile he still rolls everywhere and is learning to scoot.  Every now and then he kinda army crawls.  He is getting so big and eating everything like shown here eating ice cream with Daddy!!

Ryan playing with his cousins, messing eating, cleaning up after eating, and rolling under my exersacuer!! Fine times lie ahead once he is really mobile.
