Fourth of July

The fourth of July was busy and soo much fun for us.  We started the day with the parade in our neighborhood
Ryan waiting for the parade to start, wearing Emma's hat hamming it up for the camera.  I love that you can his one little eye peeking out under there.  He was too cute, then the wee woo showed up and holy cow was that one ecstatic little boy!
Dad sitting with the kids at the parade.
Ryan staring at the wee woo, waiting for it to come by us
Here is comes, lights sirens and all that jazz.  It was so close to us Ryan just sat quietly and watched.  The hole parade route you could heat the wee woo, so we just kept talking about it.  It even drove by us again (the parade makes a loop so we saw it twice!)
Emma trying to run away from daddy's arms--with her crawling now and wanting to stand up she keeps us busy

From the parade we headed to Grampy's (Bruce's house) and hung out with Mike's family.
The kids lining up for a pose, too bad we didnt put Savannah in Emma's lap!!!
Stacy was pushing them around in this big brown bowl or boat.  They loved it and Ryan held on to Emma so tight, a good big brother.

From there we headed to the Intercontinental to watch the fireworks with the Carney clan in the comforts of the AC.  We ate pizza, the kids swam and played then we watched the show.  We could actually see three different shows, it was really nice.
Camden trying to hold Emma or tackle her!
Mackenzie and Emma-- very cute!
Then we caught Ryan and Camden in bed together!! Ryan was rubbing her feet or smelling them, no telling with those two.
Then the two watching fireworks together. Their first show together!!

It was a busy day but a great day with family and friends.  Hope you all had a wonderful fourth of July. we sure did!

Matching Shirts

Ryan telling Emma, "hey our shirts they match like daddy's"
Trying to hold Emma for the picture
Laying on the mattress--cute pic if it was upright!
Just enough hair for a bow--Mike thinks I am crazy but I thought it was cute!
Emma already leaning on her brother for support-- I love this photo, just if the background was better

Kemah

We drove down to Kemah to take GP (Hector) out to dinner for his birthday.  It was Rock the dock Thursday where they have live music on the dock and lots of people! It was fun for everyone, Ryan loved it because he got to see a train, fish, and a weewoo (fire truck) all in the same place in a matter of 15 minutes!! Here are some photos from out trip---
Emma-- getting soo big
Ryan coming out of the sprinklers
The Gomez men checking out the boats
Ryan trying to look through the view finder
GP helping.

I think we wore GP out! It was fun to go and hang out though!! Maybe next time we should ride some rides or at least the train!!
