May in Review

May was busy so here is a small review of all we did....

We went to Austin and visited with some of my old friends and now Ryan's new friends
this is Haddie Rutland she is one day younger than Ryan!
Then we headed to Livie, Eli and Anna's Birthday party
Anna and Eli in the ball pit--Ryan really was unsure of that.

Then we were home for some quality family time..
Eating donuts

Sleeping with mom on Mother's day

Celebrating Dad's 29th birthday... Ryan was asleep by the time we had cake but we had some the next few days.  I made carrot cake and it was really good!

Then May came to a close and we are busy getting ready for Ryan's 1st Birthday!!

I will try to post more pictures and post more often!

Mowing the Yard!

Today so that I could shower without being disturbed, Mike took Ryan to mow the lawn.  He put him in the baby bjorn and away they went.  It was the cutest thing ever!!!  Ryan absolutely loved it.  After my shower I went to get him but not without taking pictures.  Ryan was kicking his legs and smiling it was too cute.  Mike did say it was a little hard though--ryan is heavy and a little warm. Ryan and I then went inside and ate lunch while Mike continued to mow the yard.  After lunch I put Ryan on the floor, he crawled to the window and pulled up on the window sill to watch Mike mow the yard.  He then started pulling on the blinds and knocking on the window so we had to go outside and watch Mike finish the yard.  After mowing Ryan and the dogs got to play in the fresh cut grass--which he also loved.  It was great.  Now Ryan is down for a well needed nap while I got to update the blog!!! Well here are some photos from the adventure.

Changes!!

Well we have been doing lots of things around the house.  Lots of changes some still to come.

Mike has removed the carpet from the master bath and put down tile.  I love it--it looks so good.  We only have to paint the baseboards and then it will be all done.  The project of course took longer and cost more but we are happy with it.

Second we have redone our flowerbeds.  Mike has been working on this for a long time but we actually have it all planted with blooming flowers. It looks so good.  We then added a bunch of other plants along the side of our house to try and block the view of the street for our barking dogs!!  We only have two other flowerbeds to remove and replace with grass and then our front yard will be how I want it.  Of course our grass is the most plush and green on the street because of all the TLC Mike gives it.

Third and I guess most importantly---Ryan is going to be a big brother!!

That is a positive pregnancy test for those of you who cant see it very well.  We are due Novemeber 30th!!  However since I am having a c-section this time we will have an exact date and time to choose later in the pregnancy.  I have been feeling a little nauseated but really I dont have time to be.  I guess with your second pregnancy you are so busy caring for your child that you forget about being sick!!  We are very happy, it should be fun and busy come December!!
