Even the score

Well we had our ultrasound of baby B yesterday and we will be bringing a Girl Gomez into the family.  We are very happy!! We are currently trying to decide her name--lots of ideas but nothing final yet.  Ryan is excited to be a big brother to a sister--today he bought her a pink pig stuffed animal and himself another dog stuffed animal!!!  I was a little shocked that is was a girl just because I didnt think I would get a girl--Mike was prepared for a girl.  Mike made the joke yesterday that the boy (ryan) was his and the girl was all mine.  I laughed and said yeah right she will have you wrapped around her pinky so tight it will be funny--he swears no, but we will see come November!!

On another note Ryan had an orthopedic appt last week and everything looked good.  They think he is progressing as should and were very please with range of motion and movement on his own.  Now we just need to focus on building strength--muscle tone in the arm--if only they had baby weights!! We follow up with them again in September and go from there.

Well that is a brief update on the expanding Gomez family!!!  When we have a name we will be sure to share.  I am off to lay down and rest while Ryan hopefully does the same, I can still hear him in his crib awake!!!  Happy 4th of July to everyone!!
